Full Size Bedding

Some individuals who go shopping for bedding or beds will come across full-sized alternatives. These beds are bigger than the usual twin bed but smaller than a queen. Full beds measure 54×75 inches, and full-sized mattresses are usually called doubles. Now, that may seem not so difficult when it comes down to deciding, on regardless of whether to buy this size bed. Several factors will help influence that decision. You will need to know whom the bed is going to be used by, if it’s not for you, and more importantly know how big is the area where the bed will be put.

If you’re a parent and are remodeling a child’s room, a full size bed is a great option. Let’s say the kids are making the transition into teenage years and a twin bed looks like it’s getting a bit too small, then a double bed is a great choice. They can be placed on a platform with wheels and can be called a trundle. Double size beds with trundle are really fun and simple to turn around. When the platform, base or frame of your bed is suspended from the ceiling or raised high enough to fit a desk underneath, it is considered a loft bed. It doesn’t matter which way you use it, a double size bed is hassle-free, larger than a double bed, and will allow your youngster to have a good amount of room to sleep and move around in in a relaxed manner for the next several years.

However if you have kids that share a room and what you are considering is a bunkbed, then gladly know that there are different kinds of bunk beds which include a full size bed on the lower level. Using a bunk with a double bed on the bottom, will give your kids the space they’re familiar with. Not to mention that you, as a parent will feel great knowing that, the older kid will sleep comfortably and be able to grow into that bed. And, if that is not enough, a double bed can host someone or a relative during a sleep over. That is one idea, your kids will love.

But, young kids are not the only ones that can benefit from the use of the double bed. As an example, if your kid is a college student who has decided to move out of the dorm and share a condo off campus, he / she may want a larger bed. Yet, their new bedroom space is tight. A full-sized bed is the way to that problem. Your college age kid will be able to have the comfort desired with moving off campus. In the end, sharing a condo or sharing a home while going to college, not just offers freedom but also the responsibility of being a young adult. And helping them make the decision to acquire the Full-sized bed is an upgrade from the extra long twin beds from a college dorm and gives them a bigger sense of independence. They are a step closer in every aspect, to being grown ups, and a full size bed is a shy bit away from the grown up beds.

So, regardless of which one is your situation, do know that you have selections for making your children’s sleep more comfortable as they grow and mature into adulthood.
