Material

Gone are the times when all floors are made of tile and all bathtubs are made of porcelain.  Modern materials are way more durable, simpler to clean and do not have moisture Problems.  Options include stone, ceramic or vinyl flooring.  Special grout is now available to stop cracking and popping with common use.  Bathtubs and showers come in a selection of materials as well.  The acclamation for acrylic is increasing, since it isn’t cold to the touch when you step in and it keeps bathwater hot longer.  The material is light and works really well in an upstairs lavatory area.  Heavier materials, for example cast-iron or stone, are more appropriate for downstairs toilets. 

Features
